Area Manager – Self Storage | Multi-Site | Nottingham & surrounding areas
We have a really exciting opening for a commercially astute and experienced Area Manager to oversee and help open multiple Self Storage sites, as part of our clients exciting growth strategy. You will drive commercial performance, finesse operations and lead high-performing teams to grow the brand footprint across their target markets. This role is perfect for an ambitious Area Manager or highly experienced Store Manager with strong operational and commercial expertise withing the Self Storage industry.

Role Overview
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering revenue growth, increasing occupancy, improving customer experience, and maintaining consistent operational standards across several Self Storage locations. You will also work closely with the Managing Director to get new sites up and running and operational, through a combination of acquisitions and new builds.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-site operations across several Self Storage facilities
Drive sales, occupancy, revenue, yield and profitability
Manage KPIs including conversion, churn, digital leads and customer reviews
Ensure compliance with H&S, Fire Safety and GDPR
Lead, coach and develop site managers and teams
Oversee site standards, security, maintenance and presentation
Support commercial pricing, promotions, marketing and online accuracy
What We Need in an Area Manager…
Proven Area Manager, or highly experienced Store manager who is looking to move up the career ladder – ideally experienced in multi-site management
Strong commercial and operational background within self-storage
Confident using KPIs and data to drive performance and outcomes
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate others
Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel regularly to operational sites
Due to the nature of the role, previous/current experience of working in self-storage is a MUST, as well as ideally having multi-site management experience
Hands-on approach and desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
