An impressive financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join its UK finance function. This is a key leadership role responsible for statutory, regulatory and governance reporting across multiple UK-regulated legal entities.
You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely financial reporting, while leading audit coordination and supporting capital management activities.
The Role
*Leading the UK Group Reporting team and overseeing delivery of accurate financial reporting outputs
*Coordinating the end-to-end statutory audit process, working closely with external auditors
*Ensuring timely submission of annual statutory accounts
*Managing quarterly and annual regulatory reporting, including Solvency II
*Supporting capital planning and forecasting
*Preparing technical accounting papers for new business initiatives and complex transactions
*Presenting financial statements and key reporting outputs to internal governance committees
*Managing relationships with senior stakeholders up to board level
About You
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Proven background within a technical finance role in the insurance industry
*Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
*Proven experience coordinating statutory audit processes
*Solid understanding of Solvency II regulatory reporting
*Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
*Experience managing and developing team members
*Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
