Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking to make a real impact in a hands-on manufacturing environment, in a standalone role, working on complex engineered systems from concept through to installation?
Do you enjoy developing innovative design solutions, collaborating across departments, and seeing your work move from initial concept to production and customer delivery within a long-established engineering business?

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer that is proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, looking for a varied opportunity with a long established manufacturer of specialised manufacturing equipment.
The Role:
*Research, develop, and improve designs for special purpose machinery, conveyors, structural steelwork, and fabrications
*Produce and modify design schemes, calculations, BOMs, and detailed engineering drawings
*Perform engineering calculations and analysis to evaluate performance, safety, and efficiency
*Create 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
*Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful delivery
The Person:
*Experience in a mechanical design role
*Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
