Financial AccountantLeeds (Hybrid Working)
Up to £55,000
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a well-established organisation in Leeds to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking for ownership of statutory reporting, audit management and international entity support within a collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities:*Preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and local IFRS
*Day-to-day coordination of external audits, liaising with auditors and tracking deliverables
*Posting and reconciling statutory adjustments
*Supporting month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
*Coordinating and reviewing German VAT returns with external advisors
*Performing VAT reconciliations and assisting with local tax reporting
*Supporting process improvements and systems enhancements
About You:*Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
*Experience preparing statutory accounts
*Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
*Confident managing audits and working cross-functionally
*Strong Excel skills
*VAT experience and/or German language skills desirable
