Job Description:
Part-time/Full-time | Supply/Long-term | Immediate Start
Various mainstream and SEN schools based in the borough of Hackney are seeking creative candidates for flexible and ad-hoc SEN Teaching Assistant work! You can join their team on a full-time, long-term basis or for daily supply. Experience working with children is preferred.
Role Overview:
*Support throughout the year groups with their learning
*Provide 1:1 and small group support
*Implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
*Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
*Flexibility available if needed with supply work
Requirements:
*Patient, calm, and proactive approach
*Passion for supporting children with SEN
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*SEN/ASD experience desirable but not essential
