The Role
An established professional services firm based in Norwich is seeking a full-time Legal Accounts Administrator to join its supportive finance team.
This role will play a key part in supporting the organisation’s legal accounts function, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and smooth day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing day-to-day legal cashiering duties, including client and office ledger postings, processing receipts and payments, and completing reconciliations in line with regulatory requirements
*Posting and monitoring bills, expenses, and disbursements
*Preparing financial reports, completing bank reconciliations, and assisting with audits and compliance reviews
*Working closely with fee earners and internal teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality
*Providing wider administrative and finance support where required
Experience & Skills
*Previous experience within a legal accounts or legal cashiering role
*Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Office
*Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Comfortable working within a small team environment
*Proactive and able to manage a varied workload effectively
*Knowledge of relevant regulatory accounts rules would be advantageous
