Bars Manager - £27-30k - Caernarfon, North Wales
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Bars Manager to join our team. As Bars Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pub on site , which is a traditional pub operation and incorporates a modern British Menu including Sunday Roasts etc. In undertaking this role you will be leading a team and ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. If you have a passion for the working in a good quality bar environment and possess strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the Bar’s operation, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
- Train and mentor staff members on proper food handling techniques, customer service protocols, and restaurant policies
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Oversee the ordering and receiving of supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organised bar environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or bar industry
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using restaurant management software for scheduling, inventory tracking, and reporting
