Job Description:
We are supporting a global Banking brand in the search for a qualified Management Accountant to support the UK Finance team in delivering accurate and timely FP&A, management information and financial analysis. This role provides insights into business performance, supports budgeting and forecasting, and contributes to process improvements, automation and adherence to regulatory and governance requirements.
This is an exciting role on the commercial side of accounting where you will be working with senior members of the team. The business has an excellent working culture with a very competitive salary + extensive benefits package on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly MI for the highlighting key drivers and trends.
*Produce detailed financial analysis vs budget and forecast, supporting decision-making.
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting and subsequent variance analysis
*Support cost control
*Monitor financial KPIs and contribute to risk assessment
*Support ad hoc analysis and projects, including process improvement initiatives.
*Liaise with local and Group stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
Candidate Profile:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*3+ years post-qualification experience in FP&A, management accounting, or financial control within financial services.
*Strong analytical skills, Excel & financial modelling proficiency.
*Experience in presenting financial results to non-finance stakeholders.
*Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
