Job summary
This is an Investments Assistant role supporting the research and portfolio management team through data analysis, reporting and preparation of investment materials. The position provides exposure to multi-asset investing while assisting with research packs, client presentations and portfolio modelling.
Key responsibilities *Producing high-quality meeting packs containing investment data, charts and research
*Supporting economic and company research across multiple asset classes
*Assisting with portfolio allocation summaries and portfolio modelling
*Preparing client presentations for Board and Committee meetings
*Contributing to market overview commentaries and ad hoc analytical projects
*Working closely with portfolio managers to deliver accurate and timely reporting
The successful candidate *A graduate with a strong academic background in finance, economics or a related discipline, or up to two years’ relevant experience
*Broad familiarity with financial markets and statistics
*Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
*Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and the wider MS Office suite
*Experience with Bloomberg, Eikon or eVestment would be advantageous
*Able to manage deadlines effectively, communicate clearly and demonstrate commercial awareness
