Job Description:
Commercial Finance Manager | High-Growth Engineering & Construction
Offices: East London (5 days per week in the office) - you must be comfortable with it being office based
Working hours: 8am - 5pm
A prestigious construction and engineering firm is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join the team during a transformative growth phase. Reporting directly to the CFO, you won’t be tucked away in the back office; you will be the strategic link between finance and operations, turning raw data into the ’financial storytelling’ that drives smarter business decisions.
The Impact You’ll Make
*Strategic Partnership: Work alongside the MD and divisional leaders to influence project outcomes.
*Operational Insight: Own the management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and implementing kpi dashboards & models
*Future Leadership: This role has great opportunity to progress / develop into an FC position
What You Bring *Qualified Pro: ACA/ACCA/CIMA (ideally 5+ years PQE).
*Tech-Savvy: Expert-level Excel (Essential) and Power BI skills (Not essential)
*The ’Human’ Element: High EQ with the ability to challenge stakeholders and simplify complex numbers for non-finance teams.
*Industry Roots: Experience in construction, engineering or manufacturing is a significant plus
