We are currently recruiting for the Stockport and Tameside area.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide essential support to a range of clients in need of assistance with daily living activities.
This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering personalised care. More information regarding each client will be available upon interview stage.
We currently have vacancies for day time shifts, early evening shifts and sleep in shifts
Responsibilities
*Assist clients with personal care, dressing, and grooming.
*Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
*Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
*Support clients with specific health needs.
*Maintain accurate care plans and documentation for each client.
*Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
*Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
*Drive clients to appointments or social activities if needed.
*Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care.
Requirements
*Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential.
*Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
*A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients.
*A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
*Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
