Nursery Manager – Reading, Berkshire
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm
Contract: Permanent, all year round

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our friendly and supportive team in Reading, Berkshire.
Our nursery prides itself on delivering high-quality, child-centred care where children thrive and staff feel valued. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager or strong Deputy looking to step up into a new challenge.
This role offers the chance for a Nursery Manager to lead a passionate team and ensure outstanding standards of care, learning, and safety.
Responsibilities of the Nursery Manager
*Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery
*Lead, motivate, and support a team of early years professionals
*Maintain high standards of care, safety, and education
*Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
*Manage administrative duties including rotas, recruitment, and Ofsted compliance
*Ensure the nursery performs at a high standard and meets all EYFS and legislative requirements
About You
*Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
*Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or strong Deputy Manager
*Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
*Commitment to inclusive and outdoor learning practices
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
