Estimator – Joinery
Romford (or Stockport for NW option)
£45,000 – £65,000 + Package | Permanent
A busy specialist joinery contractor is looking to hire an experienced Estimator to support a steady pipeline of bespoke fit-out and joinery packages. This role suits someone who can price accurately, understand drawings and specifications, and help win profitable work through strong tender submissions.
What you’ll be doing:
*Preparing detailed tenders for bespoke joinery and fit-out packages
*Taking off quantities from drawings and specs
*Reviewing scope, identifying risks, and ensuring correct inclusions/exclusions
*Obtaining and analysing supplier/subcontractor quotes
*Supporting bid submissions and handover into delivery/commercial teams
What we’re looking for:
*Proven joinery estimating experience (essential)
*Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing and installation processes
*Confident reading drawings and working to deadlines
*Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail
