We’re recruiting a Fire Systems Contracts Manager for an established active fire contractor delivering a busy programme of works across Essex/London and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run multiple projects confidently, manage engineers/subcontractors, and keep delivery tight on programme, quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
*Manage fire systems projects end-to-end (delivery, programme, cost control)
*Coordinate engineers and specialist subcontractors on site
*Oversee commissioning, handover and certification packs
*Ensure compliance with relevant standards and site H&S requirements
*Client liaison, progress reporting and variation management
*Support estimating/pricing and project planning where required
What we’re looking for:
*Strong background in active fire systems (e.g., fire alarms, suppression, emergency lighting or related)
*Proven experience managing multiple contracts/projects
*Confident client-facing communicator with commercial awareness
*Organised, accountable and able to drive teams on site
*Full UK driving licence
