We’re looking for a Domestic Violence Specialist - Complex Needs Support Worker to deliver powerful, trauma-informed outreach support across Nottingham City.
The RoleYou’ll work alongside women experiencing domestic abuse and complex needs, including:
*Homelessness
*Substance misuse
*Mental and physical health challenges
*Offending history
This is a dynamic, community-based role. You’ll be:
*Delivering proactive outreach support across the city
*Leading community drop-in sessions
*Supporting women resettling after refuge or temporary accommodation
*Co-locating with statutory partners, including regular work at Loxley House
*Advocating at MARAC, court, housing, probation, and multi-agency meetings

What You’ll BringYou are:
*Experienced in supporting women affected by domestic abuse and complex needs
*Confident in risk assessment, safety planning and advocacy
*Trauma-informed, non-judgemental and survivor-centred
*Skilled at managing a varied caseload in fast-paced environments
*Passionate about partnership working and collaborative solutions
*Committed to feminist values, anti-discriminatory practice and continuous improvement
A Women’s Aid or SafeLives Level 3 qualification is desirable (or willingness to achieve it).
Salary*£26,705 (Scale Point 17 - Unqualified)
*£28,340 (Scale Point 20 - Qualified)
LocationBased across city premises, community locations and co-located with statutory partners across Nottingham City.
Contract InformationThis role will start as a temporary contract for 12 weeks, with the intention to transfer to a permanent contract following successful completion.
