Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and organised Credit Controller to join a team in Liverpool. This temporary role focuses on ensuring accurate financial records and managing outstanding debts efficiently.

Description
*Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
*Conduct credit checks on new clients and set up appropriate credit limits.
*Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and queries.
*Prepare and send out invoices, account statements, and payment reminders.
*Work closely with the finance team to report on outstanding debts and cash flow.
*Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and payment history.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
*Assist in reconciling accounts and supporting audits as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, particularly within credit control.
*Strong knowledge of financial systems and accounting software.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
*The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
