Job Description:
Design Engineer - AirframeBelcan is looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our Airframe Team, - someone who thrives on technical challenge, precision, and innovation. If you’re passionate about design and manufacture of complex aircraft structures and are able to support the Build Line, solving Concession/waiver assessments, this is your opportunity.
This is a Contract role, based in Lancashire and is an On-site role
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Design Engineer you will be proficient inone or more of the following toolsets:
*3DModelling & Draughting
*Metallic & Composite Structures
*Electrical Installation
*Detail Part, Assembly & Installation Design
*BOM creationand documentation
*Supporting the build line with concession/waiver assessments
Key ToolsetsProficiency in one or more of the following:
*Catia V5
*Teamcenter
What We’re Looking For*A technical problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail
*Someone who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment
*A collaborator who values precision, quality, and ownership
*Aerospace experience
*Awareness of aircraft build processes
Candidates must have the Current Right to Work in the UK
