Special Needs Teacher (SEND)*Corby
*Full-Time | Permanent
*Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)
I C Talent is working in partnership with a specialist provision in Corby to recruit a committed and compassionate Special Needs Teacher for a full-time position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and making a meaningful difference within a nurturing and well-supported environment.
About the SchoolThe provision caters for pupils aged 4–18 years with a wide range of special educational needs. Places are commissioned by North Northamptonshire Local Authority for children and young people who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The school is committed to delivering personalised learning pathways that support academic progress, emotional development, and independence, ensuring every pupil is given the opportunity to thrive.
The RoleAs a Special Needs Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons to pupils with a range of SEND needs, which may include Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.
You will work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure each student receives an inclusive, personalised education aligned with their EHCP targets.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
*Develop and review EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
*Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
*Monitor, assess, and track student progress
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and pastoral staff
*Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
*Maintain safeguarding standards and follow school policies
About You*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience working with children or young people with SEND
*Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
*Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
*Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
*Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
