Job Description:
Paralegal Clams Handler
Our client is an established international insurance company. They are looking for a paralegal claims handler to join their in-house team team handling a wide variety of civil litigation claims.
Role Overview
You will join an existing team which focusses on civil litigation claims. This includes property disputes, contract disputes, nuisance, construction and landlord/tenant claims. You will deal with the claim from inception to finish with a focus on assessing coverage, prospects of success and proportional cost handling of the claim.
The role will require someone with a solid background in civil litigation and legal experience/training.
Candidate Profile *The ideal candidate will have some prior experience working in a legal claims setting with a knowledge of civil litigation. As a guide you will have 12 months experience working on civil litigation claims.
*Further training on policy coverage and interpretation will be given.
*Prior experience in an insurance setting would be an advantage but not essential.
What’s on Offer *Salary of £30000 plus 10% bonus.
