Fleet Sales Business Development Executive (Van Sales)
South East (Field-Based)
Basic Salary DOE + Uncapped Commission
Mon–Fri | 8:00am–18:00pm | 45 hours | Flexible working considered
Vehicle Allowance + Mobile + Laptop Provided
About the Role
A well-established, award-winning automotive group is seeking an ambitious Fleet Sales Business Development Executive to strengthen its commercial vehicle division.
This field-based role focuses on generating new business, building long-term fleet relationships, and delivering tailored van solutions that meet the needs of commercial customers. From the first door-knock to signing the contract, you’ll own the entire sales cycle and create lasting partnerships.
Experience in van or automotive sales is beneficial — especially with electric vehicles (EV) — but high-performing B2B sales professionals from other sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
*Research and develop new fleet opportunities across the South East
*Book and attend meetings with potential customers to secure new business
*Handle enquiries (phone, email, walk-ins) when working from site
*Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer journey
*Prepare, amend and complete sales contracts accurately
*Keep CRM/customer records up to date and well-maintained
*Promote current offers and consistently achieve sales targets
*Deliver professional vehicle handovers and record customer satisfaction
*Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing
*Develop strategies to maximise sales performance and business growth
A DBS check will be required before starting.
