Receptionist
*Hourly Rate: £13.69 PAYE

*Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm) 37 hours per week
Join our client at the Coronial Service as a Receptionist. This role is crucial in providing a compassionate and professional first point of contact for bereaved families and other visitors. The position involves a mix of customer service and administrative responsibilities, requiring a high level of empathy and attention to detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Answering phone calls and providing information to bereaved families, ensuring a sensitive and understanding approach.
*Meeting and greeting visitors at the building, which may include family members coming to see their loved ones, court attendees, or other visitors.
*Handling administrative tasks such as reporting faults, chasing up on issues, providing release slips to funeral directors, logging post, and checking shared mailboxes.
*Ensuring all interactions are handled with empathy and professionalism.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.
*High level of empathy and the ability to handle interactions with bereaved individuals.
*Attention to detail in all aspects of work.
*Experience in administrative roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
