We’re recruiting an Electrically Biased Shift Engineer to join our team near Letchworth , reporting directly to the Maintenance Team Leader. You’ll be apprenticeship-qualified or hold an equivalent engineering qualification.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Carrying out preventative maintenance
*Electrical fault finding on PLCs, motors, production lines and control panels
*Responding to breakdowns
*Supporting new machinery installations
*Contributing to engineering projects
*Driving continuous improvement within the engineering team
*Identifying and resolving ongoing issues with long-term solutions
*Working a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift (days & nights)
Technical Requirements
*Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
*City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
*Strong mechanical and electrical competence
*Confident with electrical and PLC fault finding
