The Opportunity
*Pay: £12.85 per hour
*Location: York
*Contract: Temporary – covering planned sickness (approx. 2–3 months)
*Start: ASAP
We’re recruiting for a friendly, professional Receptionist to support the front-of-house operation for a large, well-known PLC based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys being the welcoming face of the business.
The Role
As the temporary Receptionist, you’ll ensure the smooth and efficient running of a busy front-of-house. Your responsibilities will include:
*Greeting visitors and providing a warm, professional welcome
*Managing the reception desk and visitor sign-in processes
*Answering and directing calls
*Handling incoming mail and deliveries
*Supporting with general administration to keep the office running smoothly
*Maintaining a tidy and organised front-of-house area
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Confident, personable and customer-focused
*Well-organised with great attention to detail
*Comfortable managing a busy reception area
*Experienced in reception and/or admin roles
*Immediately available for a 2–3 month assignment
