McGregor Boyall are partnered with a leading multi-strat hedge fund:
We’re looking for someone to with with PMs to build live trading tools, APIs and integrate quant analytics models to support risk management, pricing, backtesting and trade lifecycling. You’ll be solving systematic problems across Rates / FX / Options / Futures.
This role balances financial markets experience and expertise with high level understanding of a large Macro tech stack in order to develop the innovative applications, analytics and infrastructure the fund’s PMs and analysts use every day. This is the chance to work very closely with alpha generating personnel and take ownership of a broad spectrum of technical aspects on the desk.
Working with very bright people, solving complex challenges.
This is a permanent role requiring 4 days per week onsite in London. Bonus buyout and/ or sign-on options are available.
Required skills:
- Excellent Python ability (2+ years)
- Working as a desk-based developer within financial services (RAD, Forward Deployed, Desk Quant, Desk Dev, Trading Floor Developer etc)
- Extensive experience developing APIs
- Strong prior knowledge of Fixed Income, Rates, FX, Options or Futures
Nice to have:
- Experience working in Macro
- Buyside experience
- Pod-based experience with a PM
