I C Talent is proud to be working with a well-established secondary school on the outskirts of Peterborough to recruit a dedicated and experienced Business Studies teacher for a full-time, permanent Head of Department position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious educator ready to take the next step into leadership within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The RoleAs Head of Business Studies, you will take full responsibility for the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the department. You will play a key role in shaping curriculum design, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and driving student achievement at both KS4 and KS5, including A Level.
Key Responsibilities*Provide clear leadership and strategic direction for the Business Studies department
*Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS4 and KS5, including A Level
*Design and implement a dynamic, well-structured curriculum
*Track and analyse student performance to ensure strong outcomes
*Coach, support, and develop departmental colleagues
*Contribute to wider school improvement initiatives
*Uphold safeguarding procedures and adhere to all school policies
About You*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have at least three years’ experience teaching Business Studies
*Demonstrate experience delivering Business Studies at A Level
*Possess strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Business education
*Show clear leadership capability and ambition
*Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic success
