Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, operational environment and is looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive finance team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function. Responsibilities will include:
*Processing purchase ledger invoices and matching to purchase orders
*Assisting with sales ledger and credit control duties
*Bank reconciliations
*Supporting month-end processes
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Assisting with general finance administration
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
*Experienced in an accounts assistant or finance administration role
*Confident using Excel (including basic formulas and reconciliations)
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Able to manage workload and meet deadlines
*A strong communicator who can liaise with suppliers and internal teams
