Secondary Chemistry Teacher – Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Start Date: August 2026
Salary: US$1,500–2,300 per month (plus benefits)
A large, internationally accredited school group in Phnom Penh is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Chemistry Teacher to join its expanding team from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a dynamic, inquiry-based international environment in one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant capitals.
About the Role
* Teach Secondary Chemistry within an international curriculum framework aligned with US standards and Advanced Placement (AP).
* Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons to a diverse, multilingual student body.
* Support inquiry-based learning and academic excellence.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a Bachelor’s degree plus a recognised teaching qualification.
* Have at least two years’ teaching experience.
* Have experience working with ESL/EAL learners.
* Demonstrate knowledge of international curricula.
* Be collaborative, adaptable, and culturally responsive.
Benefits
* Competitive salary US$1,500–2,300 per month (tax approx. 9%).
* Visa and work permit fully processed and paid by the school.
* International health insurance (up to US$50,000 per year) and life insurance.
* Annual flight allowance (paid monthly).
* 50% tuition discount for dependents (increasing to 75% after two years).
