Job Description:
Assistant Office Administrator
Leeds City Centre
*Office-based (no hybrid working)
*Full-time, 5 days per week
*Competitive salary, dependent on experience
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and reliable assistant office administrator to support our business operations. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day administration of the practice, supporting our team and ensuring a smooth client experience. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and with a can-do approach to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Front-of-house: answering calls, greeting clients, managing emails
*Managing appointments, calendars, and meeting rooms
*Preparing and formatting documents (letters, engagement letters, reports)
*Supporting onboarding of new clients (ID checks, document collection)
*Handling incoming/outgoing post and office supplies
*General admin support to partners and accounting staff
Required Skills and Experience:
*Previous experience in an office administrator or similar role
*Strong organisation and attention to detail
*Confident communicator with a professional manner
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office and networked systems
*Data processing onto computer software
*Handle confidential information discreetly
*Good time management and the ability to prioritise
*At times be able to work under pressure
Desirable:
*Experience in an accountancy practice or a professional services environment
*Basic understanding of accountancy terminology

*25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays; plus an additional 3 days over Christmas when the office is closed

*Full time employment – Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch and Friday 8.30am to 4pm with half an hour for lunch
