We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS3 and KS4 Music Supply Teacher for a role starting after the Easter break in South Norfolk. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about delivering high-quality music education to students and is ready to inspire young minds.
Day-to-day of the role:*Deliver engaging and educational music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Develop lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the needs of all students.
*Utilise a variety of teaching methods to provide a balanced music education including theory, instrumental skills, and music history.
*Encourage students’ musical growth and participation in school music events and performances.
*Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students’ love for music.
*Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to promote their musical development.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching music at KS3 and KS4 levels.
*Strong knowledge of the music curriculum and various teaching methodologies.
*Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students.
