Job Description:
We are partnering with a well-established engineering organisation to recruit a Quality Control Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, quality-driven professional who thrives on precision, compliance, and continuous improvement within a collaborative engineering environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing product quality across the full lifecycle — from supplier evaluation and design input through to production inspection and customer support. Working cross-functionally with engineering, production, procurement, and leadership teams, you will ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards while driving measurable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards
*Maintain ISO 9001-aligned quality management processes
*Conduct product inspections, internal audits, and supplier evaluations
*Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records
*Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
*Apply quality tools such as SPC and FMEA to improve reliability and performance
*Analyse quality data to identify trends and drive improvements
*Support design reviews to ensure manufacturability and quality
*Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns
*Provide guidance and training on quality best practices
About You
*Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
*Experience in a Quality Control or similar engineering/manufacturing role
*Strong knowledge of quality methodologies, regulatory compliance, and ISO 9001
*Skilled in SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis
*Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
*Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
*Well organised and able to manage multiple priorities
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
