What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Welder / Fitter specialising in heat exchanger products, you will:
*Perform TIG welding and brazing on aluminium products.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings to execute precise welds.
*Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely for optimal performance.
*Conduct inspections on welds to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
*Collaborate with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines.
*Participate in ongoing training to maintain welding certification.
*Keep your workspace clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
*An NVQ/City & Guilds or similar qualification in welding & fabrication.
*Proven experience as a TIG Welder, especially with aluminium and steel products.
*Familiarity with thin gauge sheet metal welding (0.5 - 3.5mm).
*Experience working to high tolerances and certified standards.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
*Experience in aerospace, motorsport, or similar industries is a plus.
