My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Procurement & Contract Savings Consultant on a Contract basis.
This role will review contracts due for re-procurement and existing contracts for in-term savings.
Local Authority experience is essential
About the role:
Based in Greater London (hybrid):
*Review contracts due for re-procurement and existing contracts for in-term savings.
*Use benchmarking insights to evidence and validate savings opportunities.
*Develop and implement strategies for contract consolidation, renegotiation, and improved supplier management.
*Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of savings with service delivery.
*Prepare robust business cases and recommendations for each contract reviewed.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
*Deep Commercial Procurement expertise, within the Public Sector.
*MCIPS is desirable.
*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
*Local Authority experience is essential.
What’s on offer:
*Salary: £500+ per day, outside IR35
*negotiable based on experience
