Description
*Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
*Support the month-end close process, ensuring all journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations are accurately accounted for.
*Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
*Prepare and present financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
*Manage the accounting team and provide guidance where necessary.
*Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
*Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with business goals.
*Maintain and improve financial systems and processes within the organisation.
*Provide support for audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*Accounting Qualification-ACA/ACCA
*Proven experience within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
*Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, and ERP scale systems).
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Effective leadership and communication abilities.
*A commitment to maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

*Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to 65,000
