Job Description:
Graduate PlannerLocation: London Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an independent planning consultancy in their search for a Graduate Planner to join their London-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career planner to kickstart their career within a well-established consultancy, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.
The Role As a Graduate Planner, you will support the planning team on a range of live development projects, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the planning process within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities * Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications
* Supporting site appraisals and development feasibility studies
* Reviewing local and national planning policy
* Drafting planning statements and supporting documentation
* Liaising with Local Planning Authorities and external consultants
* Maintaining accurate and well-organised project records
Candidate Requirements * Degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography or related discipline
* RTPI-accredited degree preferred
* Strong interest in planning and development
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Organised with strong attention to detail
* Keen to work towards MRTPI Chartership
