We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Room Leader to lead one of our rooms and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality early years education. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Level 3 (or above) qualified professional looking to take the next step in their childcare career.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage the daily running of the room
*Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
*Support, mentor, and supervise room staff
*Monitor children’s learning and development through observation and assessment
*Ensure the room meets high standards of care, safety, and hygiene
*Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
*Act as a Key Person for a group of children
*Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met
*Contribute to staff meetings and continuous improvement within the nursery
Requirements
*Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
*Previous experience in an early years setting
*Experience leading or supervising a team (preferred)
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
*Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
*Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Positive, proactive, and professional attitude
