Early Years Practitioner – Wantage, Oxfordshire, OX12
Salary: Up to £28,000pa / £13.50ph (DOE/Qualifications)
Hours: FT: 40 hours over 4 or 5 days OR PT: 30 hours (3 full days), shifts 7.30am–6pm
Contract: Permanent, All year round
Join us as an Early Years Practitioner in our warm, caring, and motivated team in Wantage, Oxfordshire, OX12.
We provide high-quality childcare and education, supporting children to develop their interests and learn through play. Staff are encouraged to pursue further training in general childcare, Special Educational Needs, practical skills such as food hygiene, and Level 5/Forest School qualifications.

Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner
*Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5
*Act as key person for a group of children, supporting learning and development
*Plan and deliver engaging indoor and outdoor activities
*Liaise with parents and carers on children’s progress
*Role model best practice to team members
*Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and EYFS standards
About You
*Minimum Level 2+ Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
*Previous nursery practitioner experience or similar
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Team player with commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
*Eligible to work in the UK
