Senior Infrastructure Engineer | £60,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology business delivering robust, secure IT infrastructure solutions. This role combines project delivery, 3rd line support, and infrastructure automation, giving you ownership across the full infrastructure lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
*Designing and implementing physical and virtual IT infrastructure solutions.
*Leading infrastructure projects and ensuring timely delivery to customer requirements.
*Providing 3rd line support and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
*Maintaining systems through patching, upgrades, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
*Managing VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.
*Supporting networking infrastructure (Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell) and core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
*Administering Windows and Linux systems.
*Managing backup solutions including Veeam and NetBackup.
*Developing automation using Ansible/AWX, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
*Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including incident reports.
