Academics Ltd / Term Time Teachers
Academics and Term Time Teachers are working closely with a number of welcoming Primary Schools in Lewes who are seeking dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join them on a full-time basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with additional needs and make a meaningful difference every day.
Role Details:*Full Time - Monday to Friday
*8:30am - 3:30pm
*Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
*Assisting with learning, emotional regulation, and social development
Experience Required:Candidates must have at least 6 months’ experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including experience with needs such as:
*ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
*ADHD
*Global Developmental Delay
*Down Syndrome
*Dyslexia
*SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
Requirements:*Minimum 6 months relevant SEN experience
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
*Two years’ worth of professional references
*Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
