HR Vendor Manager
Location: Manchester
Contract: Consultant
Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days Tuesday to Thursday onsite

The Role
We are seeking a HR Vendor Manager to join us on a permanent basis via the Robert Walters Consultancy. Your first assignment will be at Vanguard, in Manchester.
What you’ll do
* Lead HR vendor governance for 60+ suppliers, including onboarding, due diligence, performance monitoring, renewals, and exit processes.
* Oversee all TPRM activities, driving risk assessments, compliance reviews, remediation plans, and ongoing monitoring.
* Act as the central liaison between HR, Risk, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors to ensure alignment with business and operational standards.
* Maintain accurate vendor data, contracts, risk classifications, and deliver regular reporting on performance and remediation progress.
* Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and legacy issues, implementing improved workflows and documentation standards.
* Facilitate structured reviews, escalations, and issue resolution to strengthen operational discipline and audit readiness.
What you bring
* Proven experience in HR vendor management, covering benefits, pensions, rewards, and third-party suppliers.
* Strong operational, risk, and compliance background within HR.
* Experience managing vendors across EMEA, Europe, and the Americas, with understanding of multi-jurisdictional regulations.
* Hands-on experience with risk platforms such as Archer, ServiceNow, OneTrust, or similar.
