Job Description:
Buyer – Elland – £38,000
Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be supporting a global leading manufacturer who is looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team.
This key role will support manufacturing operations with a steady flow of raw materials and will work closely with production, engineering and supply chain teams across the UK.
Key benefits / Hours of work
*27 days holiday + bank holidays

*40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
The role
*Sourcing and purchasing raw materials and components to meet production demand at the right cost and quality
*Managing purchase orders, supplier performance and delivery schedules
*Using sales and operational data to support forecasting and inventory planning
*Acting as a key SAP user, maintaining accurate master data
*Coordinating with customs agents and couriers to support import and export activity
*Working closely with production, warehouse, finance and quality teams
The person
*Previous experience within a purchasing role within manufacturing
*Experience using SAP
*Strong attention to detail with confidence working with data and forecasts
*Clear communication skills
