Level 3 Early Years Educator – Spencers Wood, Reading, Berkshire, RG7
Salary: £13.00–£14.62 per hour
Hours: Full-time 40–42.5 hours per week over 4–5 days
Contract: Permanent, All year round
We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our rural nursery in Reading.
As a Level 3 Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting children’s growth, development, and wellbeing through engaging and creative activities. This is an excellent chance for a Level 3 Early Years Educator to deliver EYFS learning, support a team of practitioners, and enhance children’s outdoor learning experiences.
The Level 3 Early Years Educator role allows you to contribute meaningfully to the nursery’s ethos. As a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator, you will be a role model for both children and colleagues.
Responsibilities
*Deliver the EYFS curriculum to a high standard, supporting children’s learning and development
*Maintain exceptional standards of care, ensuring every child feels safe, secure, and valued
*Safeguard children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
*Plan, prepare, and implement engaging indoor and outdoor learning activities
*Observe, assess, and monitor children’s progress in line with EYFS requirements
*Work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong partnerships with parents and carers
*Contribute positively to the nursery’s welcoming, inclusive, and supportive culture
About You
*A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
*Previous nursery or childcare experience as an Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator
*A genuine passion for early years education and child development
*A loyal, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
*A patient, friendly personality and strong teamwork skills
*Commitment to inclusive practice and outdoor learning
*Excellent communication skills with parents, carers, and colleagues
*Eligibility to work in the UK
