A well-established manufacturing company based in Cardiff is entering an exciting phase of transformation, with significant investment and site improvements planned. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their engineering team.

The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of manufacturing equipment across the site. The position is multi-skilled, requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
*Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
*Electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime
*Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment as part of site investment
*Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
*Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
About You:
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have:
*Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
*Both electrical and mechanical knowledge (multi-skilled)
*Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*A proactive and team-focused attitude
