Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Tax Manager to join this busy accounting practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing corporate tax compliance, planning, and reporting, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and optimising tax strategies. Duties
*Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients typically ranging from £50-£100 Million turnover.
*Liaise between accounts and audit teams, meet with clients.
*Identify any technical issues and deliver tax advisory outcomes.
*Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimise organisational tax liabilities.
*Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
*Stay updated on changes in tax legislation affecting the organisation and advise accordingly.
*Collaborate with finance teams to ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
*Manage and develop the corporate tax team - staff reviews, feedback and delegate work loads.
Experience
*Proven experience in a senior finance or tax management role within the financial services sector. (ideally within practice)
*Extensive knowledge of corporate taxation laws and regulations.
*Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and other financial management tools.
*Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, including accounts payable processes.
*Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data with excellent attention to detail.
*Experience in financial planning and strategic tax optimisation is highly desirable.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
