Temporary Mailroom Operative
Financial Hedge Fund | East London
£16 per hour (circa £32,000–£35,000 per annum equivalent)
We are currently recruiting for a Mailroom Operative to join a prestigious financial hedge fund based in East London. This is a temporary position initially, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for someone who is available immediately and looking to join a professional, fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities
*Supervise mailroom staff, including scheduling, task allocation, cross-training, and performance support.
*Lead team briefings on safety, procedures, and operations as required.
*Monitor departmental mailing costs and drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
*Maintain and update mailroom policies and procedures, ensuring clear communication of changes.
*Oversee print/production requests, conference room set-ups, and professional call handling.
*Resolve operational issues and implement improved ways of working to meet team and customer objectives.
*Lead by example, modelling behaviours aligned with the company values and fostering collaboration.
Experience & Skills
*Previous mailroom experience preferred
*Experience dealing with international packages is highly desirable
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay
£16 per hour
Equivalent to £32,000–£35,000 per annum.
