Defendant Personal Injury Claims Handler Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE
Location: Bradford City Centre
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Defendant Personal Injury Claims Handler to join a highly regarded and expanding Defendant Personal Injury team based in modern offices in Bradford city centre.
This role is ideally suited to a confident pre-litigation claims professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, fast-paced, and performance-driven legal environment.
The Role You will manage a varied caseload of pre-litigation Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims, acting on behalf of insurer and corporate clients. The role requires a methodical, process-driven approach, strong attention to detail, and excellent client-handling skills.
Key Responsibilities: * Managing a caseload of pre-litigation EL/PL claims from inception to settlement

* Investigating liability, causation, and quantum

* Reviewing medical evidence and expert reports

* Drafting correspondence and settlement negotiations

* Providing accurate technical advice to clients and stakeholders

* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal KPIs

* Delivering excellent client care and maintaining high service standards

About YouEssential Requirements: * Minimum 18 months’ experience handling pre-litigation personal injury claims

* Strong understanding of EL/PL claims processes

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills

* High level of IT literacy and case management experience

* Organised, methodical, and process-driven approach

* Positive attitude with enthusiasm and willingness to learn

Desirable: * Previous experience handling retail-related claims

* Exposure to insurer or defendant legal environments
