Elevation Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established and reputable metal supplier based in Barnsley as they look to add an experienced Manufacturing Operative to their growing team.

The RoleWorking within a process-led environment, you will play a key role in ensuring materials are processed efficiently, safely, and in line with strict quality standards and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities*Operating FLT Counterbalance and Isle Master
*Operating 360 grabs
*Using band saws, plasma cutting equipment and alligator shears
*Operating shot blasting machinery
*Using XRF machines for material analysis
*Working to production KPIs and quality standards
*Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
What We’re Looking For*Experience working within a process-driven manufacturing or heavy industry environment
*Ideally from heavy industry, aerospace, metals or similar sectors
*Strong understanding of quality control and health & safety
*Experience operating material handling equipment (FLT licences desirable)
*Comfortable working to performance targets and production deadlines
*Flexible attitude towards working hours when required
