Sales Manager, B2B Events / Surrey / Hybrid / £45,000 plus OTE
We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead revenue performance across a portfolio event. This senior role is responsible for delivering commercial growth, managing and developing a sales team, and ensuring the overall financial success of the event.
This opportunity suits a results-focused sales leader with experience in events, exhibitions, media, or a B2B commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver and exceed personal and team revenue targets across stand sales and sponsorship
*Manage day-to-day sales performance and sales activity levels
*Execute the event’s commercial and brand strategy
*Develop new business and grow existing accounts
*Identify and drive new revenue streams, including sponsorship opportunities
*Lead, coach and develop the sales team to maximise performance
*Monitor pipeline, forecasting and reporting through CRM systems
*Manage the rebook process and optimise the event floorplan
*Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure commercial success and high-quality event delivery
*Monitor competitor activity and market trends
*Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular revenue forecasts
*Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders
About You
*1+ years’ experience in a sales role within events, exhibitions, media, or a related B2B environment
*Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
*Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams
*Commercially astute with strong forecasting capability
*Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
*Confident negotiator and relationship builder
*CRM proficient and data-driven
*Highly motivated and results-oriented
