Job Description:
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £14.74 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join a well-established logistics operation based in Avonmouth. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position within a fast-paced transport environment.
Job Responsibilities:
*Preparing driver paperwork and coordinating daily transport activity
*Acting as the main point of contact for drivers while on the road
*Communicating effectively with internal teams and operational sites
*Monitoring transport performance and compliance
*Handling calls and emails in a professional manner
*Managing vehicle breakdowns and responding to operational issues
*Supporting safe and efficient delivery operations
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment
*Basic working knowledge of transport legislation, including:
*Working Time Directive
*EU Driver’s Hours
*Tachograph regulations
*Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
