OVERVIEW:
• You will manage daily cashiering duties, including posting receipts, payments, transfers, and disbursements to both client and office ledgers, as well as overseeing banking activities such as reconciliations, cheque processing, and accurate allocation of funds.

• You will also process refunds, write-offs, and adjustments in accordance with internal controls, while monitoring ledger balances and resolving any fee earner queries in a timely manner.

• A strong understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules is essential, ensuring proper segregation of client and office funds and full compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as supporting internal audits and accountant reporting.

• In addition, you will have a working knowledge of processing telegraphic transfers and payroll, provide cover when require, completing compliance checks, and liaising with HR and finance teams.

• Experience in a high-volume conveyancing or completions environment, along with familiarity with digital approval workflows and online banking platforms, will be highly advantageous.
