Key responsibilities of the Internal Audit Manager:
*Lead complex audits, ensuring robust planning, execution, and reporting.
*Provide meaningful insight and challenge to senior stakeholders while strengthening risk management and control frameworks.
*Manage and coach junior auditors to support skills development and capability uplift.
*Produce high-quality audit reports and present findings to leadership.
*Contribute to the shaping of the annual audit plan and methodology enhancements.
*Maintain strong working relationships across the business to support continuous improvement and risk awareness.
Key essentials of the Internal Audit Manager:
*Strong internal audit experience within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
*Proven experience leading audit teams and overseeing complex audit work.
*Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
*Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA) advantageous.
